iPad Apps Surpass 20,000
The number of universal and iPad specific apps available has officially passed the 20,000 mark.
Reaching the milestone of 10,000 apps just 70 days after launch, and 20,000 60 days after that solidifies the iPad as having the fastest growing software library in Apple’s history.
At present, iPad apps are being added at a rate of 154 per day which is more than twice androids rate of 73 per day. If this pace continues the iPad’s number of software offerings will overtake android’s in about 21 months.
